About Us

We are a church serving God’s People in Faithful, TX

church-worshipersWelcome to Faithful UMC we are so glad you are here!  This is a warm, welcoming, friendly church that wants to do good work in our Community.  We invite you to get to know us and work along side us!

We are just people like you…

There is nothing special about the people here.  We are just like you.  Trying to be loving to our neighbors, but sometimes we fall short.  We have pain and sorrow and grief, but because we have a friend who is always there for us we experience healing and hope and joy!

  • We want to know God better
  • We want to learn how to have a better life through Jesus’s teachings of Love
  • We want to have meaningful relationships with God and the people around us

Loving God…

If you want to learn more about God and grow closer to him, this church has many opportunities for you.  Our weekly worship is the cornerstone to how we stay connected to and learn more about God.  But we also have these opportunities.

  • Small Groups for Adults, Children and Youth
  • Classes to learn more about God and your Relationship with him

We love each other…

If you are like us, you want a place where you can belong.  You want to know that you are loved.  The people of this church want to get to know you and be part of your “support” system in this tough world!

We serve God and his people…

Maybe you have a desire for volunteer work.  We know that volunteering is some of the most rewarding there is in life.  When you give of yourself in this way, you become a blessing to someone and you ALWAYS experience God’s love, peace and joy in these moments.  Our church has many ways for you to get involved and “serve” within our church and among the community.  Check out he Serve section for more information.

Micah 6:8

He has told you, O mortal, what is good; and what does the Lord require of you but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God?
